Welcome to our Web site

Two Bays Ulysses branch was established in November 1996 and has over a 100 members. We cater for Ulyssians living on or near the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and new members are always welcome to any of our activities. Two Bays branch has a great mix of social activities and rides for people who like motorcycles to enjoy.

We have a passion for riding motorcycles and the Mornington Peninsula offers some of Victoria's best scenery and motorcycle roads.  We have an organized ride on most weekends and most Wednesdays. New members are welcome! Check out our Ride Calendar.

We are a very social group and you are invited to join us every Saturday morning from 10am for morning tea and a friendly chat at Jetty's Cafe Pizza & Pasta corner of Jetty Road & Point Nepean Road, Rosebud - on beach side. You are also welcome to come to our monthly social evening on the 1st Monday of the month at Steeples Tabaret,  Racecourse Road, Mornington. For these and other social activities see our Social and ride calendar.

Our official Two Bays E-mail address is:  twobaysbranch@yahoo.com.au

PRESIDENT'S REPORT

We had our Committee Meeting, and all issues were dealt with and resolved. Also we have a new Sponsor, The Jetty Café. That makes it six in total now.

Hopefully the weather will pick up now that spring is in the air. That means we will have more members going on rides!

Sunday the 29th we had a ride to Inverloch. Kim Radenic was the Ride Leader. It was a fantastic ride. 22 Riders turned up, including some visitors. It was good to hear they enjoyed the ride very much. Congratulations Kim. It was well organized.

There are some good rides coming up this month:
• Sunday the 12th a ride to Yea for lunch.
• Sunday the 19th a Poker run.

Somebody said to me: “But I don’t know how to play poker” For the ones who don’t know what a poker run is I will explain it; At the start you get a card, then at every stop you get another. At the end you get your 5th card and the one who has the best poker hand wins the money. Everyone pays $5.00 at the start, if there are 20 riders, then it means the winner gets $100.00 We also will visit a bike collection in Moorabbin where we’ll have a sausage sizzle provided by the club. Booking is essential. Contact Alan Rae or Chris Dyball.

The Christmas tickets are now for sale. See Alan Rae on Saturday mornings if you are wanting some. I know it is early, but before you know it, Christmas is there. I will have tickets on our Social Nights at Steeples. So if you want some, come and see me.

The Sickbay looks good. Everyone is slowly on the mend. Margot got the cast off her leg but is still wearing a moon boot for support. She is walking again, but very slowly.

See you all at Steeples Monday night.

Stay up right.

President

Tiny  Veltman
