Welcome to our Web siteTwo Bays Ulysses branch was established in November 1996 and has over a 100 members. We cater for Ulyssians living on or near the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and new members are always welcome to any of our activities. Two Bays branch has a great mix of social activities and rides for people who like motorcycles to enjoy. We have a passion for riding motorcycles and the Mornington Peninsula offers some of Victoria's best scenery and motorcycle roads. We have an organized ride on most weekends and most Wednesdays. New members are welcome! Check out our Ride Calendar. We are a very social group and you are invited to join us every Saturday morning from 10am for morning tea and a friendly chat at Jetty's Cafe Pizza & Pasta corner of Jetty Road & Point Nepean Road, Rosebud - on beach side. You are also welcome to come to our monthly social evening on the 1st Monday of the month at Tanti Hotel, Nepean Highway, Mornington. For these and other social activities see our Social and ride calendar. Our official Two Bays E-mail address is: twobaysbranch@yahoo.com.au
President's Report My first year as President was an experience. I had my ups and downs in the beginning, but in the end I managed to have it under control. We all learn by our mistakes. It is thanks to all you members for the support you gave me over the year, that I could handle the position as President. With a large group as Two Bays Branch is it is not possible to please everyone. But overall I hope that everyone was happy the way things were run. For me, being President for such a great branch has been a great honour. We had a good year, lots of good rides and weekends away, and our Christmas function at Frankston R.S.L. Our Social Meetings at Steeples has been fantastic. It was a shame they took the wall out and we lost our privacy. I hope that the Meetings at Tanti Hotel will be a success. Our first meeting there was a bit of a chaos, but I didn’t expect that many members to turn up. And the room was too small. We will have a bigger room on our next meeting. A very special “thank you” to Peter Baulch, Ron Olson, Alan (Bill) Hipworth and Chris Dyball for the great weekends away. Organizing weekends away is a lot of preparation and takes a lot of time. Well done. We also have a really good turn up at the Jetty Coffee Shop every Saturday morning. Sometimes up to 36 bikes turn up, which is absolute great to see. You all know our motto: “Stay up right” I am happy to say, we all did in the last year, except for the Secretary and President. We just wanted to show everyone what happens if you don’t “stay up right.” The main thing was, we came out of it alive. The string of pearls seems to be working alright too. And what with the 3 radios makes it even better. Just beware, the cops can hear every word you say. Also a big thank you to the WOW Ladies. It is good to see the ladies getting involved and enjoy themselves while the men are out riding. They have many outings on Wednesday. As such I haven’t been able to join them. But let’s face it, someone has to keep an eye on your husbands or partners. And that someone has to be me. In closing, I would like to say once again, “Thank you all for your support”. And last but not least, a big “Thank you” to the Committee. They stood behind me 100% Stay up right. Tiny Veltman President
