Seventeen bikes with five pillions set off from the Baxter car park on a beautiful autumn morning under the guidance of our ride leader Doug Lutz ably assisted by Betty with Tiny as tail end Charlie.Our outbound ride took us through Harkaway, Boronia & on to Chirnside Park for morning tea.

After refreshing ourselves we headed to Diamond Creek via Warrandyte & Eltham for lunch. Our return trip took us via Research, Warrandyte & other interesting points to the BP at Thompsons Road for an ice cream – thanks Doug & Betty 

This was Doug’s first attempt at ride leading & he provided us with a variety of scenery & riding experiences.  

Thanks Doug, Betty, Tiny & all the riders & pillions for a most enjoyable & safe day – hopefully we will see Doug leading more rides in the future.
