RIDE REPORT – FISH CREEK PICNIC RIDE 19/4/09

24 Bikes & 8 pillions set off from Baxter under leaden skies bound for Fish Creek.

The first stage of the ride took us to Wonthaggi via Tooradin, Lang Lang, Nyora, Loch & Kongwak. At Wonthaggi we met up with Kevin Guiney & had a morning tea stop.

Next stop was Fish Creek, via the beautiful ocean drive to Inverloch & then through Middle Tarwin. At sunny Fish Creek we had the park & shelter shed to ourselves & enjoyed hospitality over a chicken salad lunch.

After lunch we headed for home via Meeniyan, Leongatha, Korumburra, Bena, Poowong & Lang Lang.

Our 280 km ride finished at Tooradin – fortunately the weather gods had smiled on us with a dry ride.
