Eleven bikes and two cars set off from Baxter carpark for the foot hills of Mt Buller led by Peter Lees and tailend charlie was Ron and Geraldine Olsson. Weather was just right not to hot not to cold. First stop was Healesville which could only mean one thing THE BEECHWORTH bakery. Next stop was Mansfield to fill up with refreshments for the night, this is where it got confusing for some people who didn't realise we were travelling as a group. Now when you get to the top of a mountain although you are closer to the sun doesn't mean you are going to be warmer ...in fact it was only 8 degrees up there so the only thing to do was light the open fire not only that but the central heating came on as well, that's when you suddenly get hot guess there's no pleasing some people. Evening entertainment was a mixed bag this year as we were blessed with a visit from none other than the Prophet Musta-havapaht [check out the photos]. A few members were kept spell bound by the tricks from Jeremy [Peter Lees son], two people were seen programming a phone for not less than HOURS,  while the rest of just kicked back. The ride down the mountain was a more subdued guess we were tired, we did encounter some idiots on the Black Spur, at one point I thought we were at the Philip Island track.  Another great weekend thanks to Peter and Ann Lees ,see ya all soon Alan [pres]....
