Picnic Ride Report to the Upper Yarra dam.

 

A windy but otherwise terrific day was had riding through the Dandenongs.  Morning tea in Woori Yallock then on to                                 Warburton and the Yarra Dam Park. Malie & Pat and Marion where busy preparing lunch consisting of Malie's famous home                                made vegie soup, charcoal roast chicken (bought) and ham rolls and to finish fruit salad and custard.

With full tummies ride to the dam for a photo shoot and towards home via the Gembrook road.  On that road some of us witnessed                          a biker coming off his machine as a car in front of him took some evasive action and stopped because of fallen tree branches.  More                  than  half of us stopped to render assistance until the ambulance came.  Trevor and Dot travelled by car as did Pat and Marion who came         with us in the lunch wagon.
