The weather was great at, 18 deg, fine with just a few white clouds. It was the morning that Jack and Malie were leading the ride to Walhalla Betty and I arrived just after 9am to find 4 others were already there. There were 13 bikes there to go for the ride. We left at 9 30am and rode up the Baxter Tooradin Rd to the South Gippsland Hwy turned right and rode on turning off to the left and riding through South Gippsland, which is great scenery, with the little rain that we have had the grass and trees were looking nice and green. Riding on, Jack saw some motorbike riders and waved to them, a little after they joined in and road with us until we got to Yarragon, were we stopped for our morning break. The other riders then found out they were with us and not the Wanderers and wanted some directions of how to get back with there own group. After the stop in Yarragon it was back on the Bikes and on to Moe, were we turned left through a few of the streets in Moe and out onto the Moe-Rawson Rd The Moe-Rawson Rd took us through the Moondarra Park, and then through to Erica, and on to a left turn into Walhalla Rd, were we went though a few sharp turns, up and down, with the road cut through the rocks and into Walhalla. Walhalla is an old Gold Mining Town and a very Picturesque Little Town. Doug and Betty Lutz
