On behalf of my wife Reserve and myself we
would like to thank the committee for a wonderful night out at the
Frankston RSL on 3rd December.
The venue was very nice, we had not been there before and were very
impressed with the private function room that had been reserved for
'Two Bays'
The entertainment for the evening was great with Dennis banging out
the songs, even us Junior members new a lot of them. LOL
The food and service was excellent as they dished out all the
courses in a very timely manner.
Thanks to all the new friends that we have made in our short time
being members of "Two Bays' you have all made us very welcome.
Many thanks to all the people behind the scenes who make these
events run so smoothly.
We are very much looking forward to the New Year, especially the
overnighters.
Looks like our kids will be alone for quite a few weekends (don't
worry, they are old enough, well only just!)
Merry Christmas to you all, and may we wish you all a safe new year
on 2 wheels. (or 3 for George)
Your new friends Reserve & English Al.
The Christmas Break up was a huge success.
Everyone enjoyed themselves. The venue was very nicely decorated
with a couple of Christmas trees and all the trimmings. We had our
little Christmas trees as centre piece, and a nice bottle of wine on
the table.
It was a real Christmas atmosphere.
The meals were very nice.
Dennis Rea did a terrific job as DJ and made sure he had the people
on the dance floor.
The Door Prize ($100.00 voucher) was won by Mark Bedford. We had
some very nice prizes to give away. I can't remember who won what,
but a few I do remember: Malie won a 5litre barrel Heinekens beer.
She was on Cloud nine. Alan Hipworth won a Stay sharp Knife set, and
Kevin Cooper won a box with 6 bottles of wine. All in All, a
fantastic night. It was a shame that some of our members who pay' d
for their tickets didn't show up. I want to thank all the members
who attended this function for making it such a great night.
President Tiny.
